In virtual environments, The Museu das Minas e do Metal uses a lot of creativity and technology to take you to discover the exciting world of minerals. Each room is a box of surprises. The Museum of Mining consists of spyglasses and a telescope. The second floor houses the Museum of Metals displaying animation that shows the secrets of chemistry and metals.
The Museu das Minas e do Metal has several attractions that awake the curiosity of tourists. These are:
1.      1:Chão das Estrelas: This is an inverted planetary scopes and telescopes pointing toward the ground, which allows us to see closely the mineral collection Djalma Guimarães.

1.      8:Sala Ligas e Compostos: shows how the combination of metals creates alloys with different characteristics.

2.      9:Janelas para o Mundo: this attraction shows the use of metals at different times.

3.      10:Língua Afiada: attraction that gives the opportunity to know the history of metal.

4.      11:Vale Quanto Pesa: this is one of the coolest. You're in the middle of a structure and it calculates how much of each mineral in the body you have. Of course it is only an estimate, but worth the fun part of it.

1.      12:Vil Metal: a comparison with the value of the metal products in different ages.

2.      13:Adorno do Corpo: this structure is also interactive, and shows visitors a virtual projection with jewels.

3.      14:Mesa dos Átomos: other interactive attraction where you manipulate the elements of the periodic table to form other elements. It would have been more fun in the day, if not arrogant that the monitor was in charge of space.
